COVID-19 coronavirus: Travel advice

Strict travel restrictions on entry to WA and travel to remote Aboriginal communities are in place. Find out about the restrictions, exemption criteria and how to apply for an exemption.

Most regional travel restrictions were removed on Friday, 5 June 2020.

Travel is now permitted throughout all regions within WA, except for entry into remote Aboriginal communities.

Western Australians are encouraged to ‘Wander out Yonder' and take a different kind of holiday, enjoy a staycation in Perth or travel to new places, and seek out new experiences across the state.
