WA Digital Strategy

Australian Data and Digital Council

The Office of Digital Government represents WA on the Australian Data and Digital Council’s Data Sharing and Analytics Working Group. The Working Group is identifying analytical questions and associated data sharing requirements to support COVID-19 response and recovery. Establishing an evidence-based understanding of emerging issues across jurisdictions will enable all governments to better work together to improve Australia’s COVID-19 recovery and response.

Western Australian Information Classification Policy

The WA Government launched the Western Australian Information Classification Policy in August 2020.

The Policy provides a common language for agencies to identify risks and apply appropriate security controls to protect, store and share their information assets.

The Office of Digital Government, in collaboration with the Information Classification Working Group, has developed a toolkit of supplementary guides and templates for agencies to adopt to assist their progressive implementation of the Policy.

Please contact Info-DGov@dpc.wa.gov.au for further information and access to the toolkit.
