The Coordinator of Energy is responsible for the development, amendment, and replacement of WEM Procedures assigned to him under the Electricity System and Market (ESM) Rules. Changes to these WEM Procedures can only be made by the Coordinator of Energy.
Between 3 April 2017 and 30 June 2021, WEM Procedures now assigned to the Coordinator of Energy were the responsibility of the Rule Change Panel. Prior to 3 April 2017, WEM Procedures were the responsibility of the Independent Market Operator (IMO) and AEMO.
Details of changes made to WEM Procedures since 3 April 2017 are provided in the table below. Procedure changes made before 3 April 2017 are available on AEMO's WEM Website.
