The ‘Privacy 101’ resources consist of a set of slides and an accompanying trainer’s guide. These resources introduce the privacy provisions of the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 (WA) (PRIS Act). They are a practical resource for Privacy Officers and PRIS Champions who provide training to staff at their IPP entity.
These resources support the delivery of consistent and accessible privacy training to people who handle personal information when they work in, or provide services, to the Western Australian public sector.
Privacy Officers and PRIS Champions who deliver privacy training are encouraged to customise the set of slides to ensure they are relevant to the activities and functions of their entity and the intended audience.
