Taking long service leave

An employee can take leave after 10 years of continuous employment.

Long service leave when employment ends

If employment ends after
7 years an employee may be entitled to payment for long service leave.

Cashing out long service leave

Leave can be cashed out by agreement once fully accrued.

Payment for long service leave

Employees must be paid their normal weekly number of hours at their 'ordinary pay'.
