Stick to the speed limits of 10km/h on footpaths and 25km/h on bike paths, shared paths and local roads when eRiding. Visit the Road Safety Commission’s website for more info on how to make every eRide safe: www.rsc.wa.gov.au/erideables
eRiders, always slow down when approaching others on paths and ring your bell or give a verbal warning when passing from behind. All path users should stay to the left. Let’s roll together, safely. Visit the Road Safety Commission’s website for more info on how to make every eRide safe: www.rsc.wa.gov.au/erideables
Sharing an eRideable with another adult, child or pet makes balancing and braking more difficult, increasing your risk of a crash. Always stick to one person per device to make every eRide safe. Visit the Road Safety Commission’s website for more safety tips: www.rsc.wa.gov.au/erideables

Bike riders, please remember to always wear a helmet and:

  • Ring a bell or give a verbal warning when overtaking pedestrians or other riders
  • Slow down when approaching others
  • Indicate before turning and overtaking

Let’s roll together, safely.

Visit the Road Safety Commission’s website to learn more: www.rsc.wa.gov.au/cyclists

Drivers, always give eRiders the same safety distance as bike riders.

Allow one metre between your vehicle and an eRider to pass safely on local roads with a speed limit up to 50km/h.

eRiders, remember to stay off all roads with a speed limit over 50km/h, and any roads with a median strip or dividing line.
