As the voice of road safety in Western Australia, the Road Safety Commission is dedicated to tackling road trauma, which is one of the biggest and most sustained causes of death and injury in the community.

Belt Up Safety Campaign Launched

A new campaign launched by the State Government aims to highlight seatbelt safety, using scenarios involving a cricket player, firefighter, and a tradesperson to encourage the viewer to question their reluctance to wear a seatbelt.

New eRideables rules are here

New rules around eRideables have been gazetted and will come into effect at 12.01am Saturday 4th December 2021. If you are an eRider, or a road user of any sort, please make yourself familiar with the new rules to ensure every journey is a safe one.

What we do

The Road Safety Commission works to reduce road trauma on Western Australian roads, responding to road users presenting the highest risk.
