As part of the State Government’s $80 million Road Safety Reform Package, near miss cameras will be rolled out to 32 sites across Western Australia over the next two years. 

City of Stirling, Perth

A near miss camera was installed at the intersection of Wordsworth Avenue and Alexander Drive in Yokine on 8 July 2026 and will remain in place for a period of two months. 

 

Shire of Mundaring, Perth

On 8 July 2026, a near miss camera was installed at the intersection of Great Eastern Highway, Stoneville Road and Mundaring Weir Road in Mundaring. The near miss camera will be monitoring interactions between road users for two months. 

 

Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, Perth

A near miss camera was installed on Soldiers Road, Mundijong on 17 August 2026. The camera will monitor traffic for four weeks, focusing on pedestrian movements and vehicle volumes in the area.
