Wear your seatbelt correctly

The Road Safety Commission has partnered with Royal Perth Hospital to deliver an extension of the Caught in a Flash 2026 campaign focused on seatbelt behaviours.

A campaign extension featuring expertise of WA trauma surgeon and State Director of Trauma Steve Dungey, alongside confronting crashlab footage from Transport for NSW highlights the real consequences of wearing a seatbelt incorrectly.  

The campaign highlights how incorrectly worn seatbelts significantly increase the risk of serious injury. Injury that is entirely preventable.
