About the program 

The Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program is an exciting initiative for children aged 5 to 15 to attend arts and cultural events in Western Australia. The program includes:

  • A $50 voucher per child can be reserved by parents or guardians for up to 4 children (a total of $200).
  • Up to 25,000 vouchers will be available each year over a 2-year period.

Vouchers can be used at more than 100 venues and providers across WA, making it easy to enjoy arts and culture statewide.

To claim the offer:

  1. Reserve your voucher(s) in the ServiceWA app for the number of children you would like to claim for (up to 4 children aged 5 to 15).
  2. Buy tickets from an approved venue or provider.
  3. Come back to the App with your receipt to claim your rebate. 

Eligibility for the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program 

To be eligible for a voucher and rebate, you must:

  • Be a Western Australian resident 18 years or older to claim the voucher.
  • Be the parent or legal guardian of a child aged 5–15 years. Each child must be aged 5–15 years on the date of application.
  • Only apply for 1 voucher per child for the duration of the program (maximum of 4 children per application).

Vouchers cannot be used for: 

  • Food or beverages
  • Merchandise
  • Workshops or classes
  • Non-arts or cultural events (e.g. AFL tickets)
  • Movie tickets
  • School-organised activities
  • Activities at non-approved venues

How to claim the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers and redeem 

There are only 3 steps to access the offer:

Step 1 - Reserve your vouchers within the ServiceWA app

  1. Open the ServiceWA app and login with your Digital ID with a ‘Standard’ identity strength.
  2. Go to the Discover tab and click Offers, select Kids Access All Areas Vouchers.
  3. Enter the details of your eligible children (aged 5–15). You can reserve one $50 voucher per child, up to 4 children.
  4. Confirm your application.
  5. Find your voucher confirmation in your ServiceWA inbox.

Step 2 – Buy and book your tickets

  1. Purchase tickets for an arts or cultural event from an approved venue or provider.
  2. Keep your tax invoice, you’ll need it to claim your rebate.
    • The invoice must include provider’s ABN, date of purchase, itemised ticket details, and total amount.

Step 3 - Claim your rebate

  1. Have your invoice ready.
  2. In the ServiceWA app, head to the passes tab and select the Kids Access All Areas Voucher.
  3. Upload a photo or screenshot of your tax invoice ensuring all details are visible. Please ensure your tax invoice includes the provider’s ABN, date of purchase, itemised ticket details and amount spent.
  4. Submit your claim.
    • Rebates are paid directly to your nominated bank account within 7 working days.
    • You’ll receive a ServiceWA inbox message when your claim is approved.

How long is the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program open for?

  • Vouchers for the 2025 allocation can be reserved from 11 December 2025 until 30 April 2026 (or until exhausted).
  • Tickets must be purchased and rebates claimed by 31 May 2026.
  • A second release of vouchers is planned for August 2026.

Alternative claim and redemption method  

If you are unable to use the ServiceWA app to reserve your vouchers, you can use an alternative claim form. Complete the form and upload copies of your identity documents to meet 100 points of ID from the examples provided.

Alternative form claims will be processed within 10 - 15 business days. Alternative claims will receive an email update from the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program team to their nominated email address, with voucher code confirmation and instructions for redemption or relevant status updates.

About the program 

What is the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program?

The Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program provides parents and guardians of children residing in Western Australia aged 5 to 15 years with a $50 voucher per child, up to a maximum of four children. After reserving your vouchers, you must first purchase tickets from an approved venue or provider for arts and cultural events. Once the tickets are purchased, you can claim your rebate. 

When will the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program go live and how long will the program be open?

Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program opened on 11 December 2025 and will run for two years. The program has a total of 50,000 vouchers, with an initial allocation of 25,000 vouchers in the first year.

When is the last day to reserve the voucher(s)?

Vouchers for the 2025 allocation are limited can be reserved until 30 April 2026, unless otherwise exhausted. You will then have until 31 May 2026 to buy tickets and claim your rebate.

Will there be another release of vouchers?

Vouchers are limited and issued on a first come, first served basis. Once the 2025 vouchers allocation of 25,000 is exhausted, the next is planned to open in August 2026. 

How many times can I claim for the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program?

Kids Access All Areas vouchers are limited to 1 per eligible child for the entire program. 
If you reserve a voucher in the first release, you won’t be eligible for the second release. Any remaining balance on your voucher in the first release will expire if not used by 31 May 2026.  

What is the deadline for submitting my rebate claim after I have reserved the voucher and purchased a ticket?

You must submit your claim for the rebate by 31 May 2026.  

Who can apply for this offer?

Who is eligible for the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program?

Vouchers are for children aged 5 to 15 years in WA. Claimants of the offer must be 18 years or over and reserve and redeem the offer on behalf of children 5 -15 years.

What can I claim?

Parents and guardians of children aged 5 to 15 can reserve one $50 voucher per child, up to a maximum of 4 children. Once a voucher/s are reserved, you can buy tickets from an approved venue or provider and then claim your rebate. 

How many vouchers can I claim? 

Each parent or guardian can only claim for up to 4 children aged 5 – 15 once during the program. A parent or guardian cannot claim for an eligible child if a claim has already been made by another parent or guardian of that child.

Is the voucher program means tested?

No. You don’t need a healthcare or concession card to reserve a voucher.

Are vouchers available to children and young people living in regional WA?

Yes. Vouchers have been allocated across the state to ensure broad access. Vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with an allocation specifically for children and young people living in regional WA.  

Can I claim a rebate without a voucher?

No. You must first register for a voucher and then come back to the ServiceWA app or alternative methods to claim the rebate against that voucher. If you have not successfully reserved a voucher, you are not eligible to claim a rebate.

Can I reserve a voucher if my child turns 5 after the program opens?

Your child must be 5 years old when reserving your voucher. You cannot claim for a child until they are 5 years old. 

My child is 15 now but will turn 16 during the program. Can I still claim?

Yes. Children who are 15 at the time of voucher reservation are eligible, even if they turn 16 later.

Can I transfer my voucher to another family?

No. Vouchers are non-transferable. 

How do I reserve a voucher?  

How do I reserve a voucher/s?

By reserving a voucher first, you can claim your $50 rebate per child (up to 4 children or $200) to that voucher.

You can reserve vouchers through the ServiceWA app by logging in with your Digital ID and clicking on the Discover tab and then Offers. The ServiceWA app is the fastest, most secure and convenient way to reserve your voucher and then claim your rebate.

If you are unable to claim through the ServiceWA app, you can reserve a voucher using the alternative form on the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program website.

Please note that alternative claim applications for the Kids Access All Areas Voucher program will be processed within 10 – 15 business days.  If you successfully reserve a voucher, you will be provided with instructions on how to claim your rebate.  

Claim forms submitted via email or post are not accepted. 

What documents and information do I need to reserve a voucher and claim a rebate?

To reserve your voucher/s, you need to provide your details and the first and last names and age of each child, up to the maximum of 4 children. If you reserve your vouchers via the alternative claim form, you will need to provide 100-points of identification. 

To claim your rebate, you will need to submit a valid tax invoice from an approved venue or provider which shows the tickets purchased and the amount you spent. It can be hardcopy or digital. If it is hardcopy, you will need to take a clear photo or scan the tax invoice and upload it when you submit your rebate claim.  

I have reserved vouchers for multiple children, why do I only have one voucher? 

Your voucher will be for the value the number of children you have applied for at $50 per child. For example, if you have reserved vouchers for 3 children, your voucher will have a value of $150. 

Where can I use my voucher?

What type of tickets can I buy? 

You can purchase tickets from approved venues and providers for arts and cultural events suitable for children and young people. The vouchers and rebate payments are intended to offset the cost of children and young people attending arts and cultural events. The types of events you may attend include but are not limited to theatre, dance, live music, comedy, circus and exhibitions including Scitech.

Do I have to buy tickets from a specific venue or provider? 

Yes, only tickets purchased for events from the list of approved venues and providers will be eligible to submit a rebate claim for. 

Can I use my voucher for a workshop or class? 

No, vouchers can only be used for ticketed arts and cultural events. Vouchers cannot be used for workshops or classes.  

Can I use the Kids All Access Area voucher to attend a non- arts event at the approved venue? 

No. While venues included on the approved venues and providers list may offer non-arts and cultural events, vouchers cannot be used to offset the cost of attendance for these events. For example, you cannot claim a rebate for AFL tickets at Optus Stadium. 

Do I have to attend the event before submitting my claim? 

No, you can submit a claim for the rebate right after you have purchased your tickets.  

Can I use the voucher for online events or digital performances?

Yes, you can if the event is hosted by an approved venue or provider listed in the program. 

Can I use the voucher for a movie ticket? 

No. Movie theatres are not included in the list of approved venues or providers.

Are regional events eligible for the program?

Yes, as long as the event you are claiming for is hosted by an approved venue or provider.

There are more than 44 venues or providers participating across regional WA.

Can I use the voucher for school excursions?

No, vouchers are intended for use by families and cannot be used for school organised activities.  

What happens if I reserve a voucher but don’t use it? 

If you don’t submit a claim before the 31 May 2026 deadline, the voucher(s) will expire and cannot be reused or transferred. 

I have reserved a voucher but won’t be able to use it. Is there any way I can return it?   
No, vouchers that have been reserved cannot be returned or transferred; they will simply expire. Remember you can use it and claim a rebate right up until 31 May 2026.

Do I have to buy tickets to an event in the same region or area that I live? 

No. Once you have successfully secured a voucher, you may purchase tickets from any approved venue or provider and claim for a rebate, regardless of your location. 
For example, if you live in Broome and hold a voucher, you can use it to purchase tickets to Scitech in Perth and still be eligible for a rebate. 
 

How to claim your rebate using your tax invoice

Why do I need a tax invoice to be able to claim my rebate?

You need a tax invoice as proof of purchase for tickets from an approved venue or provider.  

When purchasing tickets, ensure you receive a tax invoice. It can be hardcopy or digital. If it is hardcopy, you will need to take a photo, screenshot or scan the tax invoice and upload it to ServiceWA or the alternative form when you submit your claim (Step 3 above).   

Ensure your tax invoice includes the provider’s ABN, date of purchase, itemised ticket details and amount spent and that this is clearly shown in the file you upload.

The tax invoice must not be handwritten or have handwritten additions such as a date or ABN. 

I don’t have a tax invoice. Can I still claim a rebate?

No. You must provide a valid tax invoice from the list of approved venues or providers for your claim to be successful.  

What if my tax invoice is missing the ABN or date?

Unfortunately, your claim will be declined. Ensure your tax invoice includes the provider’s ABN, date of purchase, itemised ticket details and amount spent. 

What happens if I lose my tax invoice?

Unfortunately, without a valid tax invoice, you cannot submit a rebate claim. Please contact the venue or provider to request a copy. 

Can I use a screenshot of my tax invoice for the claim?

Yes, as long as the screenshot is clear, legible, and includes all required details (venue name, ABN, date, itemised ticket cost). 

My tax invoice itemises my ticket purchase plus other items. Can I still use this tax invoice to make a claim?

Yes. The rebate will be based on the eligible ticket cost entered in the claim form and no other items. 

Can I claim any other items which I purchased in my ticket transaction?

No, the ticket cost and associated fees and charges are the only eligible items that can be claimed.  

Can I use the voucher for multiple events if the invoice total is under $50?

Yes. Each voucher can be used across multiple transactions until the voucher value is exhausted. 

Can I make multiple claims against the same invoice?

No, only one claim can be submitted against any invoice.

I purchased tickets but the voucher allocations were exhausted before I could reserve a voucher. Can I still submit a rebate claim anyway?

No, you can only claim a rebate on tickets if you have successfully reserved a voucher/s first. A second release of vouchers is planned for August 2026.

Can I submit a claim for a tax invoice that was dated before the program launch? 

No, unfortunately tax invoices that are dated before the program launch date of 11 December 2025 will be declined, even if you have reserved a voucher.  

What happens if I make a claim after the program ends?

Claims must be submitted before the program’s closing date on 31 May 2026. Late claims will not be accepted, even if you reserved a voucher. 

Payment of the offer

How long will it take to receive my rebate payment?

Successful claims will have payments delivered to their nominated bank account within approximately 7 business days. Claimants will receive a ServiceWA Inbox message notifying when their claim has been approved.  Please check your bank statement as payments can arrive before the inbox message.  

Can I split the payment across multiple bank accounts?

No, unfortunately payments can only be made to 1 bank account. 

How is the rebate amount determined?

You can claim to the total amount of your voucher.

For example, if your tax invoice shows you spent $180 on tickets and your voucher is worth $200, you will receive $180. If your tax invoice shows you spent $180 but your voucher is worth only $100, you will receive $100. Any remaining value can be claimed via a second rebate using a different tax invoice and different purchase.

How will the payment appear on my bank statement? 

The payment will appear in your bank statement as “KAAARebate”. 

About the ServiceWA app

Will I receive a notifications and status updates on the voucher offer through the ServiceWA app?

Once you submit a claim through the ServiceWA app, you’ll receive a message in your ServiceWA Inbox confirming your submission, along with your claim reference number.

All future updates about your claim will also be sent to your ServiceWA Inbox. To ensure you don’t miss any important updates, please make sure email and push notifications are enabled in the App. If you submitted claim via the online form, you will receive updates on your claim via email. 

I cannot find the name of the venue or provider I want in the ServiceWA app claim form.

All of the approved venues and providers will be listed within the field dropdown. To check the venue you want to purchase tickets from is eligible, please first check the list of approved venues and providers

My ServiceWA app inbox message says my rebate claim was declined. Why?

If your claim was declined, you should find the reason for the decision included in that message. Please review the Inbox message carefully for specific details regarding your claim outcome. If you have any questions or queries on this message please reach out to ServiceWA Customer Care, by calling 13 33 WA (13 33 92) or email support@digital.wa.gov.au.

I received an error message saying the image file I'm trying to upload is too large. What should I do?

If you receive an error message stating that the file you're trying to upload is too large, it means the file exceeds the maximum size limit of 10MB. Please reduce the file size to no larger than 10MB and save to one of the following file types (JPEG, PDF, PNG, TIFF, GIF, and HEIC).

About Waivpay   

Who is Waivpay?

Waivpay Limited is a third-party payment provider used by the WA Government to process payments and rebates for many programs and offers to you, including the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program. 

Why do I need to contact Waivpay to process my alternate claim? 

Claimants who reserved their voucher via the alternative claim process will need to use the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program portal offered by Waivpay when making their rebate claim. 

This is because although the Kids Access All Areas Voucher program is run by the WA Government, payment processing is managed and facilitated by WAIVPAY, a trusted third-party provider that operates nationally.
