The Registration Standards 2025 mark a shift in the way assessment is approached within the VET sector—moving from a compliance-driven model to one that prioritises outcomes, learner achievement, and industry relevance. This webinar unpacks key changes and provides practical guidance on implementing robust, fit-for-purpose assessment systems.
It explores how Outcome Standards 1.3 to 1.6 elevate expectations around assessment quality, consistency, and validation. These Outcome Standards require RTOs to ensure assessments are valid, reliable, fair, and aligned with current industry needs. They also place a renewed emphasis on ongoing validation and supporting students through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
