Unpacking Governance: Leadership, Accountability, and Risk Management
This workshop is specifically designed for those in managerial roles or involved in the governance of RTOs. It aligns with Outcome Standard 4.4 of the 2025 Standards. The workshop concentrates on Leadership and Accountability and Risk Management.
Key topics include Fit and Proper Person Requirements, making informed decisions, leading a culture of integrity, fairness, and transparency, defining roles and responsibilities, and keeping staff informed. It also includes information on the annual declaration, notification of material changes, Risk Management, managing and reviewing risks to VET students, staff, and the RTO, managing financial risks, and handling real or apparent conflicts of interest.
