Written quote process training

This workshop is for public sector employees who are new to procurement, and are involved in purchasing goods between $50,000 and $250,000.

If you are a public sector employee purchasing goods and services on behalf of your agency, this workshop will provide an overview of the procurement process for purchases valued between $50,000 and $250,000. It is an introductory workshop, and is best suited if you have limited or no procurement knowledge.

You will learn:

  • drafting a specification
  • preparing and issuing a request for quote using the Request for Quote template
  • conducting the evaluation process
  • awarding a contract.
