Resources Online is the new and secure digital solution to improve the efficiency of environmental applications under the Mining Act 1978 and State petroleum legislation.
This is a key deliverable of the department’s Fast Tracking Mining Approvals program, which aims to significantly expand and improve the digital capability of mining and petroleum environmental lodgements to the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE).
The new platform will ultimately replace the current Environmental Assessment and Regulatory System (EARS) with a consolidated solution that provides a single user portal.
Once finalised, you will be able to submit, track and manage a number of mining and petroleum environmental lodgements to DMPE.
The implementation of Resources Online will be phased. The below applications will be released in the following stages.
