Over $1.2 million in grants is now available through the 2026/27 Heritage Council of Western Australia’s heritage grants program. Funding supports projects that conserve, activate and celebrate our state’s heritage places.
Eligible applicants can apply across two funding streams:
- State Heritage Grants support conservation works, conservation planning, documentation and professional heritage advice for State Registered places, including:
- Up to $50,000 for standard conservation works
- Up to $16,000 for documentation projects
- Up to $100,000 for eligible major conservation projects
- Community Heritage Grants supporting projects that help people connect with heritage through:
- Education initiatives
- Community engagement activities
- Interpretation projects, including signage, heritage tourism products and audio-visual experiences Grants of up to $10,000 are offered
