2026 Aboriginal Calendar Painting by Steven Ray Clarke

The artist selected to create a piece of art for the Commission’s 2025 Aboriginal Calendar is Bernie Narkle. His stunning painting ‘Promoting equality and inclusion through creativity’ shows, as described in Bernie’s concept for the work, an Aboriginal law man holding a set of justice scales with the words ‘Equality, Love, Respect’ outweighing the words ‘Racism, Hate, Discriminate’, and connecting dot painted yarning circles representing the different skin colours from all over the world coming together passing on the message stick of Equal Opportunities.

The artist selected to work with the Commission as part of the graphic design process associated with its publications and promotional products is Steven Clarke. We look forward to exciting results and sharing these in the future.

The 2025 Aboriginal Calendar is now available via our website where you can download a digital version to print for yourself or order printed copies.
