Bandyup Women’s Prison raised more than $6000 for Telethon7 Perth

"The money's going to a good place," she said. "It's hard to do good things in jail and to give back to the community, and I appreciate the opportunity to do little things to help.

Assistant Superintendent Offender Services Carol said "everything we do every day at Bandyup acknowledges the special needs of women in custody and I'm proud of the women in our care who despite their own problems strive to help others."
