Heritage Minister Simone McGurk invites nominations from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for appointment to the Heritage Council of Western Australia.
Prospective nominees should possess demonstrated knowledge or experience in heritage matters, along with qualifications in one or more of the disciplines specified under Section 14 of the Heritage Act 2018 and the Heritage Regulations 2019.
In particular, we are seeking candidates with experience in:
- Landscape architecture
- Law
- Aboriginal cultural heritage
- Property ownership, development, or marketing
Nominations must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Monday, 1 September 2025. Appointments will commence on 1 January 2026 and may be for a term of up to five years.
