The WA Government is seeking proposals from the private sector to build, locate and operate a screen production facility in WA. Proponents are invited to respond to one or more of these elements.
The screen production facility would provide studio, digital and post-production activities to complement the boom in location-based screen activities across regional Western Australia. The proposed facility would also need to meet the requirements of the emerging games and immersive technologies sectors.
This proposal is part of the WA Government’s Problem and Opportunity Statement policy. This policy allows the government to provide focused opportunities for industry to respond with innovative solutions that stimulate the economy and create jobs for Western Australians.
