COVID-19 guidelines are in place but love is still in the air!

As of 26 March 2020 the Federal Government placed further restrictions on mass gatherings including weddings.

The Registry is still officiating ceremonies however as of today, only the couple marrying, the celebrant and two witnesses can be present to reduce the risk of the virus transmitting.

To abide by social distancing, the celebrant will stand at least 1.5 m away from the couple and witnesses will sign separately.

We’re also making sure that wedding rooms are thoroughly sanitised after each ceremony.

There are no additional costs associated with rescheduling or postponing your weddings as long as the rescheduled date falls within the 18 month validity period of your notice.
