"The Commission has worked with TAFE in the regions and the metropolitan area over the years to conduct its equal opportunity training," Commissioner Manager Strategy and Engagement Diana MacTiernan said.
"It is important for large organisations with offices all over the state such as TAFE to be across anti-discrimination legislation as they have responsibility for a lot of people," she said.
Ms MacTiernan congratulated TAFE on being so proactive in educating its staff on equal opportunity rights and responsibilities and having processes in place to deal with issues as they arise.
