Senior Aboriginal Education and Conciliation Officer Stephen Goodall said all students were very engaged, participating in the discussions and activities.

"Migrant populations can be vulnerable to discrimination and harassment, especially where there is intersectionality with sex, impairment or religious conviction," Stephen said.

He said this made rights-based training vital to this cohort.

"TAFE really do need to be congratulated for incorporating equal opportunity rights-based training into the program," Stephen said.
