Security door and window screens are two of the highest claimed items under the Seniors Safety and Security Rebate, which reached a major milestone recently.

More than $6 million in payments has been granted to Western Australian Seniors Card members under the scheme.

Western Australian Seniors Card members can claim up to $400 towards the purchase, or installation of eligible home security, fire safety and electrical items.

The rebate is processed and administered by the Department of Communities’ WA Seniors Card Centre.
