The HFSS model, which aligns with the All Paths Lead to a Home: Western Australia’s 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness 2020–2030, provides tailored supports for people experiencing homelessness by linking them to accommodation and appropriate support services, including employment, health, mental health, financial management, and social support.

The additional funding, delivered under Department of Communities’ existing contract, will allow Anglicare WA to expand place-based support service Keny Miya Housing First Support Service, and will increase case management capacity and allow support to grow beyond the Bunbury CBD.

The investment is a part of the State Government’s record $5.8 billion commitment towards housing and homelessness measures.
