This is National Child Protection Week which aims to engage and educate Australians to prevent child abuse and neglect.
The awareness campaign, held from 6-12 September, is coordinated by the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) and has been running for over 30 years.
This year for National Child Protection Week, NAPCAN continues to champion the message:
'Every conversation matters’ and is complemented with the theme ‘Shifting Conversation to Action'
