WA Health has issued advice for recently returned travellers from South Australia.

All arrivals into WA are encouraged to check the SA exposure locations (external link), which are being updated regularly.

Unless advised otherwise by WA Health, arrivals who have visited a listed close or casual contact exposure location at the relevant time are required to:

  • present for a COVID-19 test on arrival (within 48 hours) and on day 12
  • self-quarantine for 14 days from date of exposure.

Arrivals who visited a listed low-risk casual contact exposure location at the relevant time are required to monitor their health and get tested if they develop symptoms of COVID-19.

WA Health will be contacting arrivals who may be impacted.

Anyone who has recently arrived from South Australia and has not visited any of the listed venues should present for COVID-19 testing if they develop symptoms and keep checking the list of exposure sites.

The Adelaide Airport is subject to multiple exposure times, locations and risk classifications – read the exposure website closely to determine which applies to you.

Western Australians are encouraged to stay vigilant and use SafeWA and mandatory contact registers to check into businesses and venues.

A list of testing clinics is available on the HealthyWA website.
