Originally forecast for completion in January 2022, the three-bedroom, one-bathroom homes were completed well ahead of schedule, in October 2021, taking around five months to build.

Timber frames were used for the construction, which was undertaken by Dale Alcock Homes, enabling a significantly shorter build timeframe when compared to traditional brick homes in the current heated housing market.

Timber-framed homes provide a number of additional benefits including increased sustainability and greater flexibility for future home modifications. They also offer an appealing aesthetic variation to traditional brick homes.

Tenants will move into the new homes in the coming weeks.
