More than 240 striking entries were received from 182 WA Seniors Card members, capturing images of sweeping landscapes, powerful portraits and everyday moments that showcased the skill, curiosity and storytelling talents of older Western Australians.

This year the competition had three categories – Golden Portraits, Golden Landscapes and Golden Moments, as well as a People's Choice award determined by public vote.

The 2025 category winners are:

  • Golden Portraits: Bruce Tuffin for ‘Early Morning Swim’
  • Golden Landscapes: Kay Cypher for ‘Lace Curtains’
  • Golden Moments: David Nicolson for ‘Model Train Enthusiast’
  • People’s Choice: Donna Legge for ‘The Old Girls’

The judging panel included representatives from Camera Electronic, the Department of Communities and DEVELOP Photography Skills founder Karen McGlue.

The winning images are available on the WA Seniors Card website.
