Grants Open. Women's Grants for a Stronger Future

The funding is available through the Department of Communities for projects that support and address the unique issues faced by Western Australian women.
Grants are available for eligible organisations to deliver a range of projects, with up to $10,000 available for one-off initiatives that align with the priority areas of Stronger Together: WA's Plan for Gender Equality:

  • health and wellbeing
  • safety and justice
  • women in leadership and
  • economic independence

While advances have been made to remove barriers faced by women, there is still work to be done to enable women to fully participate as equals in all aspects of their lives.
Stronger Together: WA's Plan for Gender Equality provides a roadmap for industries, communities, governments and individuals to drive change.
Priority may be given to projects that:

  • provide innovative approaches to achieving the program's priority areas
  • are delivered in collaboration with other organisations
  • ensure a regional spread of funding across WA.
