The purpose of the amendment to rezone approximately 125.86 ha in Bullsbrook from the Rural zone to the Urban Deferred zone in the in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The proposed amendment will primarily facilitate future residential development and areas of public open space (POS).
The proposed amendment is to be progressed as a standard region scheme amendment as the proposal generally aligns with the intent of Perth and Peel@3.5million / North-East Sub-Regional Planning Framework as the urbanisation of the site is a transitional land use which would complement the abutting urbanisation to the north.
