National Carers Week 2025

National Carers Week is held every year in October to acknowledge the many people who provide unpaid care and support to a family member or friend.

This year, it’s happening from 12- 18 October with the theme ‘You are one, know one, or will be one.'

Carers are ordinary, everyday people doing extraordinary things and make a positive and significant difference to the lives of families, friends and the people they care for.

National Carers Week is a wonderful opportunity to recognise the contribution of carers, promote their caring role and provide information on the availability of resources, services and supports for carers.

A number of resources have been created, and are available below, to celebrate and support National Carers Week.
