The Story Animals activity book

The Story Animals yarning books use metaphorical situations to explore ‘tough stuff’ in life that can lead children and their support networks to experience big emotions.
Last updated:

This activity book can be used in a variety of ways to explore safety conversations, regulation of emotion, understand loss and plan for the future.

Using the same non-directive yarning style, the activities can be completed by children of all ages and abilities.

They complement protective behaviours curriculum, give child safety workers and parents a focus for contact sessions and provide foster and family carers with an extension activity linking with the 12 yarn books themes and characters from The Story Animals.
