This application is used to register as a nominee on an Electrical Contractor’s Licence (individual, partnership or company).

Before you apply

1. You'll need

  • Nominee details
  • Existing licence number for the Electrical Contractor you’ll represent as Nominee
  • Current Electrical Workers licence number of the Nominee
  • Provide evidence of successful completion of the following Nominee module/s, issued by an approved Registered Training Organisation within the last two years:
    • WAE200 – Electrical Operational Requirements OR
    • EA103A Operational Legislative Requirements; AND
    • WAE100 Electrical Requirements OR
    • Provide details below of current or previous (within the past two years) Nominee appointment on an Electrical Contractor’s or In-House Installing Work Licence in WA OR
    • Provide evidence of being an Inspector designated under Section 12 of the Energy Coordination Act 1994 within the past two years.
  • Proof of ID ready to upload for the nominee
  • Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.

After your application has been submitted

Licence applications typically take 6–8 weeks to process. We’ll contact you if we need any additional information, and you’ll receive an email once your licence has been finalised.
