Before you apply
1. You'll need
- Nominee details
- Existing licence number for the Electrical Contractor you’ll represent as Nominee
- Current Electrical Workers licence number of the Nominee
- Provide evidence of successful completion of the following Nominee module/s, issued by an approved Registered Training Organisation within the last two years:
- WAE200 – Electrical Operational Requirements OR
- EA103A Operational Legislative Requirements; AND
- WAE100 Electrical Requirements OR
- Provide details below of current or previous (within the past two years) Nominee appointment on an Electrical Contractor’s or In-House Installing Work Licence in WA OR
- Provide evidence of being an Inspector designated under Section 12 of the Energy Coordination Act 1994 within the past two years.
- Proof of ID ready to upload for the nominee
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.
2. Complete application form
Print or digitally complete the application form.

- Application to register as a nominee - Partnership R007B
- Application to register as a nominee - Company R007C

Licence applications typically take 6–8 weeks to process. We’ll contact you if we need any additional information, and you’ll receive an email once your licence has been finalised.
