Following recent changes to the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas Installations) Regulations 1999, a gasfitting permit can be renewed up to 90 days before and no later than 30 days after the date of expiry of the permit. Beyond this 30-day period, you will no longer be able to apply to renew an expired gasfitting permit. If your gasfitting permit has expired over 30 days and up to two years, you may apply for the reissue of your gasfitting permit.
