Application to renew a high risk work licence

HRW licences are valid for 5 years. You must have maintained competency in all the classes to renew. You can renew your licence 90 days before expiry or up to 12 months after expiry.

If you submit your renewal application before your licence expires, you can keep working until you receive your renewal confirmation.

If you renew within the 12 months after expiry you cannot work until your licence has been granted.

If your licence has been expired for more than 12 months you may need you to redo the training with a registered training organisation, be reassessed as competent by an accredited assessor and submit a new application.

Courtesy renewal reminder notices are sent by email. To ensure you receive reminders, ensure your contact details are up to date.
