Your licence is valid for 3 years. Courtesy renewal reminder notices are sent by email. To ensure you receive reminders, ensure your contact details are up to date. You can renew your licence up to two months before the expiry date. Applications lodged after the expiry date but within 28 days will incur a late fee of 25% of the total fee payable.

- Your licence number (shown on your licence or search WA Licence Search).
- A police check (dated within the past 3 months, issued in your full legal name).
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.

Late applications
- Applications lodged after the expiry date but within 28 days will incur a late fee of 25% of the total fee payable.
- Applications received more than 28 days after expiry cannot be accepted. In these cases, the licence will have expired, and you will need to apply for a new licence.
