This report presents the findings of a survey to:
- evaluate the characteristics of profiles with potential acid sulfate soil (PASS) materials
- determine the spatial extent of this natural geochemical hazard
- classify and map acid sulfate soil risk areas to support management of acid sulfate soils in planning processes
- broadly outline implications of the investigations for the management of PASS materials in the region.
