Round One of the Attraction and Retention Grants to Support Early Childhood Workers in the ECEC and OSHC Sectors in WA for 2025-26 has closed. Round Two is scheduled to open for applications in late 2026.

A total of $750,000 in grant funding was available in the first round of the Attraction and Retention Grants for Early Childhood Workers in the ECEC and OSHC Sectors in WA. The program offered grants of up to $25,000 to eligible early childhood education and care (ECEC) and out of school hours care (OSHC) services to fund initiatives that support and strengthen the ECEC and OSHC workforce.

The 2025-26 successful grant recipients represent services located across the State including Perth metropolitan regions (East Metro, North-West Metro, South-East Metro and South-West Metro) and regional Western Australia, including the Great Southern, South-West, Goldfields-Esperance, Kimberley, Mid-West, Peel, Pilbara, Gascoyne and Wheatbelt.

The successful recipients of Round One (2025-26) will deliver the following projects:

  • Canning Vale PreKindy Inc: Workforce Attraction, Leadership Development and Retention Initiative
