Section 7 of the Carers Recognition Act 2004 (the Act) requires reporting organisations to annually submit self-assessed reports of their compliance to the Carers Advisory Council. The Act requires the Minister to table the report in Parliament.
The Minister agreed to suspend the 2019-2020 compliance reporting period to allow the reporting agencies to dedicate their resources to the COVID-19 pandemic.
