The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (the Department) is obliged to advise you of certain matters when collecting your personal information. This collection notice sets out those matters and explains how we will manage the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. Your personal information is being collected by the Department on behalf of the Heritage Council of Western Australia.

We will also use this information to advise you of the outcome of your referral. Should the place warrant further assessment for the State Register, we will use this information for future assessment and registration processes for this place.

We will seek your consent to use your personal information for any secondary purpose that is not outlined in this notice. If you choose not to provide your name and contact details, we may not be able to process your request.
