Why are we collecting your personal information?
The Heritage Regulations 2019 (section 30) require that a nomination of a place for entry in the State Register of Heritage Places (State Register) include the name and address of the nominator.
Secondary purposes
This information will be used only to advise you of the outcome of your nomination. Should the place warrant further assessment for the State Register, we will rely on this information should we need to contact you for future assessment and registration processes for this place.
We will seek your consent to use your personal information for any secondary purpose that is not outlined in this notice.
What would happen if we do not collect your personal information?
If you choose not to provide your name and contact details, we will be unable to accept your nomination.
Who will we disclose your personal information to?
We may share this information with:
- Heritage Council of Western Australia
- Minister for Heritage
