There was a riot at Greenough Regional Prison on July 24 2018. As a result, the Director General of the Department of Justice Dr Adam Tomison asked Ms Jan Shuard to conduct a critical incident review of matters surrounding the riot. The resulting Shuard report was released publicly on November 28, 2018.
