Guidelines for designing and installing acidity treatment systems in Wheatbelt drains.
Last updated:

This report provides proposed guidelines for designing and installing acidity treatment systems in Wheatbelt drains. The trial of potential treatment options were adapted from a range of international options develop to treat acid min drainage and acidic drainage from acid sulphate soils.

The proposed guidelines are intended to provide landholders, contractors and others involved in managing acidic drain waters with sufficient information to design and install a treatment system consisting of a single option or combination of treatment options and to manage the operation of the system.
