Stronger Together: WA’s Plan for Gender Equality Stronger Together: WA’s Plan for Gender Equality is WA’s first plan to support a gender equal community. It provides a framework for coordinated action by Government, business, organisations and individuals with practical steps to advance gender equality over the 10 years 2020-2030.

Stronger Together sets out how the Government will lead the way to bring about generational change and create a better, fairer and more equitable community in Western Australia.

Stronger Together is being delivered through four Action Plans across 10 years 2020-2030 and will respond to current and emerging priorities in Western Australia.

To mark the halfway point since Stronger Together was launched in 2020, a Mid-Point Review was undertaken of all actions in the First Action Plan 2020-2021 and the Second Action Plan 2021-2025. The Review details outcomes and impacts of more than 140 actions to improve outcomes for women and girls across the four priority action areas of Stronger Together:

  • Safety and Justice
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Leadership
  • Economic Independence

The Third Action Plan 2026-2029 was published in March 2026 and is available below.
