Stronger Together: WA’s Plan for Gender Equality is WA’s first plan to support a gender equal community. It provides a framework for coordinated action by Government, business, organisations and individuals with practical steps to advance gender equality over the 10 years 2020-2030.
Stronger Together sets out how the Government will lead the way to bring about generational change and create a better, fairer and more equitable community in Western Australia.
Stronger Together is being delivered through four Action Plans across 10 years 2020–2030 and will respond to current and emerging priorities in Western Australia. To mark the halfway point since Stronger Together was launched in 2020, a Mid-Point Review was undertaken of all actions in the First Action Plan 2020-2021 and the Second Action Plan 2021-2025. The Review details outcomes and impacts of more than 140 actions to improve outcomes for women and girls across the four priority action areas of Stronger Together:
- Safety and Justice
- Health and Wellbeing
- Leadership
- Economic Independence
