Who Pays in WA?

Guidance
A guide for foster and family carers to find and access financial supports.
Last updated:

The 'Who Pays in WA?' guide provides an overview of financial supports that Western Australian foster and family carers can access while they care for some of the state’s most vulnerable children and young people.

The guide is designed to be a central source of information for foster and family carers, providing clarity on the type of financial supports available, and will be updated as new financial supports become available.

The Department of Communities developed the guide in partnership with the Child Family Alliance WA, Foster Carers Association WA, Community Service Organisations and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
