In 2026, three Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) have been awarded contracts to deliver the Booraka Danjoo Coordinated Outreach service.

As part of the new Booraka Danjoo service model, Karlup Aboriginal Corporation, i24S Aboriginal Corporation, and Noongar Outreach Services will deliver services to the North-East, North-West and Central Corridors of Perth respectively over the next five years.

The ACCOs were found successful following a commissioning process, aligned with the Whole of Government ACCO Strategy to deliver culturally responsive and secure services that empower Aboriginal people.

The Booraka Danjoo service model is a rapid approach to identify, engage, and provide support to improve health and housing outcomes for people experiencing rough sleeping in the Perth Metropolitan area. This involves engaging with and assessing individuals’ needs to identify appropriate support, accommodation and housing options.

The commissioning of Booraka Danjoo Coordinated Outreach services is part of the ongoing Homelessness Commissioning process. The commissioning process sought to transition current Homeless Engagement Assessment Response Team (HEART) and Safe Perth City Initiative (SPCI) grant agreements and transition them to new five-year service agreements under Coordinated Outreach Services.
