We're taking 53 seniors on a local history tour around the Shire, visiting all our historical buildings and sharing historical information about these buildings.

The trip will include lunch at the Bull & Bush Tavern.

During the lunch we'll be signing up seniors who're willing to share their oral histories and stories.

These oral histories will be stored in the Shire's Ron Maidment Archives Room and publicized on the Shire's website, Facebook page and Seniors' Link newsletter.

This will help preserve personal stories and contribute to the preservation of history.

These stories can be invaluable for future generations in understanding the past.

Furthermore, oral histories can foster connections between seniors, their families and communities.
