Matilda Health

Australia’s first digital surgery support program for endometriosis

Matilda is a co-designed, clinician-led digital program delivering compassionate, evidence-based care around endometriosis surgery. Co-founded by pelvic health physiotherapist Joanna Morris and Dr Kevin Wernli (PhD), it offers an 8-week pathway (4-week prehab + 4-week rehab, with 12 months’ access) to help people prepare, recover, and feel supported.

Expert micro-lessons from pelvic physios, dietitians, psychologists and more are combined with movement, mindfulness, nutrition guidance, weekly touchpoints, and a moderated peer community. Built with lived experience and clinicians, Matilda integrates seamlessly into surgical pathways and provides tailored outcome measures back to gynaecologists, enhancing clinical care.

With research partnerships underway, it is advancing towards precision medicine and expanding into other under-researched and under-supported surgical conditions.
