The Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) is Western Australian State Government initiative designed to promote and accelerate exploration in greenfield regions to assist in Western Australia transition to net zero emissions by 2050. The program started in April 2009 and is managed by the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) within the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE).
