The Caught in a flash campaign was first released in September 2025 to raise awareness about safety cameras and the broader range of offences they can detect. In March 2026, burst two of the campaign launched focusing on the incorrect use of seatbelts and mobile phone offences.
Burst two aims to clarify exactly what behaviours are illegal and detectable, reinforce that enforcement is ongoing and drive behaviour change by removing ambiguity and misconception.
